What to do if the antivirus detects a security threat in the Nebulb installer

The Nebulb installer (and also the files it contains) are signed by a digital certificate issued by an international certifying entity that guarantees that the files are original and 100% secure.
Below you can see a screenshot with the information you can get if you right-click on the installer file and select the “Properties” option:

However, despite this there are some antivirus (especially McAfee) that sometimes directly quarantine the Nebulb installer when downloading it. This in principle should not happen, because the antivirus should check the Nebulb digital certificate on the Internet and verify that it is valid and secure, but for whatever reason, there are times when the antivirus does not do this online verification and directly quarantines the installer.

Having said all this, what can you do if this happens to you?

The first thing you should always do (for any antivirus detected threat) is to scan the quarantined file (to verify if it is a correct detection or a false detection).

In this way, if you scan the Nebulb installer with the antivirus you can check how the antivirus does not detect any threat (it was a false detection), because Nebulb software is 100% safe.

And after the scan, simply unquarantine the Nebulb installer and proceed with the installation as normal.
