Do I have to pay VAT if I live in the Canary Islands?
In the online platform that I use to sell Nebulb licenses (ThriveCart) Canary Islands does not appear in the list of locations. However, I have been able to solve this problem by internally associating one of the locations in the list with the Canary Islands.
This way, if you select “Antarctica” as country when ordering, the taxes that are included are the ones that correspond to making a purchase from the Canary Islands and, of course, the invoice that you will receive afterwards will be totally correct (with your Canary Islands/Spain address).
This is simply an internal adjustment that I had to make in the tool to cover this limitation that the online platform that manages my payments has, but then at invoicing level everything is perfectly correct.
